Pattern AM, shape 673

The later Radford pieces (marked on the base with "E Radford England Handpainted" or "Made in England") are sometimes seen as the poor relations of the earlier wares, and its true that generally it is the early pieces which attract the highest prices.  However as this page shows the later pieces can still look great...

Pattern CS

An unusual pattern, in two different colour schemes.  Pattern codes not known.

Pattern OS

Pattern JN (Anemone)

The term "later" is a bit misleading as these pieces were produced from about 1938 to 1980, so some "laters" could be earlier than some "earlies".  Most will however probably date from the late 1940's to the 60's or 70's.

Note that some patterns (QC and UM for example) were also used on early pieces.
